(ECHO Issue 262) In commemoration of the festival of her Patron, St John the Evangelist, our historic SKH cathedral held staged a memorable Sung Eucharist in the evening of Sunday, 30th December 2007. The service also served as the finale in a series of celebratory events held in 2007 to mark the 160th anniversary of the laying of the cathedral’s original foundation stone in March 1847.. The Most Revd Paul Kwong, Primate and Archbishop of HKSKH, Bishop of Hong Kong Island, presided at the Eucharist and the Most Revd Peter Kwong, Archbishop Emeritus, preached the sermon.

 Archbishop launches Lambeth Conference 2008 programme

January 21st 2008: Lambeth Palace, London: first of three films featuring the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, as he launches the programme for the 2008 Lambeth Conference, to be held later this year.

The conference, under the title 'Equipping Bishops for God's Mission' is intended to bring together around 700 bishops from Anglican churches across the world. The Bishops' spouses will meet in a separate conference being run parallel to the main conference. This is Dr Williams' introductory speech; the question and answer session films will apear overnight.

對許多基督徒來說，信仰就像一個旅程。《以馬忤斯信仰之旅》（Emmaus: The Way of Faith）正是參照耶穌在以馬忤斯路上的榜樣，研發出來的一套宣教及培育課程。

2007年11月中舉辦過首次培訓工作坊之後，不少牧者及弟兄姊妹都表示很想使用《以馬忤斯信仰之旅》，鼓勵所屬禮拜堂的教友共同參與宣教、慕道者培育及門徒訓練的工作。然而，大家又對於如何實踐及運作這套新材料，感到不安和疑惑，提問很多問題，也希望我們一一回答／支援，這種心情，我們是既理解也急切想要回應。
